As a historic move, a finally long awaited decision came forward, wherein, The Central Government dated 08.09.2021 allowed the induction of women into the armed forces through the National Defence Academy. However, Centre requested the Supreme Court to grant an exemption from women entry in NDA admissions only in the current year, since there is a requirement of making infrastructural changes and make it suitable for Females. Henceforth, Females of our country were allowed to be inducted for Permanent Commission through National Defence Academy.
Waiting for further order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court whether the Court is going to grant exemption from induction of women for the current year or not.
